Odisha `B` women and Services men emerged champions in the 2nd All-India Mayor Cup Sepak Takraw Tournament, which concluded at Kalinga Stadium here on Sunday. In the finals, Odisha `B` beat Maharashtra 15-3, 15-7, while Services got the better of Delhi 15-10, 15-11, 15-12. Sarita Patel (Maharashtra) and Sitaram (Services) were adjudged the best female and male player of the two-day tournament, which commenced at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.
Local MP Dr Prasanna Patsani handed over the trophies at the closing function. Local MLA Bijay Mohanty and host Odisha State Sepak Takraw Association secretary Sahadev Rout were present on the occasion.
